We are a UK-based company passionate about medical communications (medcomms). We work to make it as painless as possible for anyone with a life science background to take up medical writing as a career.

We have trained thousands of students on scientific writing, applying three basic principles: results, accuracy and speed!

What we do

We help anyone with a life science background acquire the skills necessary to become a well-paid scientific/medical writer to have the lifestyle they want.

We work with people at different levels of education, including BSc, MSc, MPhil and PhD graduates. Our students come from various fields of life sciences, including biology, microbiology, biochemistry, physiology, anatomy, genetics, zoology, biophysics, vet medicine (DVM), pharmacology, pharmacy, nursing, midwifery, medicine (MBBS), public health, and many more.

How we got started

The pharmaceutical industry has always been hungry for talented individuals to join and make their marks. Medical writing is one of those specialities where you can join and make a significant difference in your career and impact the lives of millions.

However, most people never hear about medical writing in school. The majority of medical writers would admit that they came into the profession by “accident”. They’ll also admit that they had limited guidance and support when they started. Medcomms Academy is here to change that.

Our curricula are developed after careful consultation with market leaders and recruitment firms to ensure relevance to industry needs and provide maximum support to our students. Our courses undergo rigorous testing with real students, and their feedbacks form the basis for further improvement of the courses.
