Affiliate Terms & Conditions

By partaking in Medcomms Academy Affiliate Programme you agree with all our terms and conditions. All other policies set out on other pages also apply. We reserve the right to make changes to our terms and conditions here and elsewhere without prior notice.

In light of taking part in the programme, you consent to the accompanying terms here and elsewhere:

Minimum Age

You confirm that you are 18 years old or older on the date of your initial enrolment into the programme. You also agree that you are in a location where involvement in the Medcomms Academy Affiliate Programme doesn’t contravene any law, statute, guideline or standard.

Medcomms Academy reserves the right to decline or cancel your affiliate membership at any time.

Spam

Medcomms Academy has a zero-tolerance policy for spam. By joining our Affiliate Programme, you agree that by no means will you send messages (electronic or otherwise) as characterised in the spam law, the CAN-SPAM Act or any other similar applicable laws or amendments, regarding Medcomms Academy Affiliate Programme.

This doesn’t deny you from sending value-based or relationship messages as characterised in the Act or other laws. Medcomms Academy maintains all authority to gather, keep, or decline all pay connected with messages you send electronically or otherwise.

Data & Other Assets

Any data or other assets generated by Medcomms Academy shall be owned by Medcomms Academy. We reserve the right to store, process and use the data as provided by applicable laws.

Cookies

We have a cookie policy of 30 days. This means when a visitor you refer visits our website, you’ll earn a commission if the visitor completes their purchase within 30 days of the referral.

As long as that cookie is still on the user’s browser when they make the purchase, the affiliate gets credited for it. Cookies will be deleted automatically once they’ve reached the expiration date. This may change from time to time as we see fit.

Commissions

We pay a commission as a percentage of the sale for each new client, after deduction of bank or credit card charges, handling charges and any transfer expenses.

  • Bronze level: The affiliate gets 10% of the sale as commission.
  • Silver level: 15% commission. Affiliates qualify for this level after making 5 successful referrals.
  • Gold level: 30% commission. Users become Gold Affiliates after making 20 successful referrals.

Note that we reserve the right to change the number of referrals required to be promoted to any level without prior notice.

For a referral to generate a commission, the buyer needs to follow the affiliate’s referral link to our website, make a purchase and dispatch full payment to us. In any case, no commission will be paid for orders that are discounted, refunded, not paid for, not paid for in full or undeliverable. Self-referral is not allowed, and will not generate any commission.

Payments

Commissions will be paid monthly after our refund period has passed. Payment will be via the Affiliate’s PayPal account and represents commissions generated from the earlier month’s sales, given that the minimum payout threshold of 50 GBP has been reached. Medcomms Academy reserves the right to hold or decline any payments we consider in breach of our terms or applicable laws based on our understanding.

Interruption of Service

Even though Medcomms Academy will attempt to keep its systems functional consistently, some interruptions maybe not be avoidable all of the time. Medcomms Academy is not liable for any interruption of services or errors from our systems. You agree to not expect Medcomms Academy to take responsibility for any outcomes of interruptions or errors.

Earning Disclaimer

Medcomms Academy Affiliate Programme is not a get-rich-quick scheme. All businesses carry risks. Our methods have been tried and tested but require hard work and there are no guarantees. References are real but used for demonstrations or example purposes only. Your results may vary and depend on many factors.

Our educational programmes are specifically designed to help people with life science backgrounds who want to establish their medical writing practice or join an existing med comms company. It is not for people who only chase every shiny object in the market. If you do not accept our terms and conditions, please do not purchase, or enrol on any of our programmes.

Fraud

Medcomms Academy reserves the right to investigate all commissions for suspected foul play. Any form of misrepresentation constitutes a break of this Agreement, and Medcomms Academy holds full power to end any affiliation or hold payments or both, as we deem fit.

Other Policies

All other policies of using Medcomms Academy websites or services also apply.

We reserve the right to change any of our policies without prior notice. It is the user’s responsibility to keep up-to-date with any policy changes.
